MEDIX was founded by experienced Registered Nurses with a combined total of 25+ years of nursing experience, so we understand how vital compassionate, safe, and responsive care is to a patient’s well-being.
Our regular office hours are M-F: 8am to 5pm. However, we accommodate after hours (M-F: 5pm to 8am) trip requests, weekend trip requests, and holiday trip requests, meaning we are able to service your transportation needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with advance notice and based on availability. We are open every holiday. We will fulfil trips with availability. If you need holiday transportation, we recommend advance reservation due to limited availability. Call us to check availability.
We service all of Los Angeles County and surrounding areas. We service all California and beyond for our long-distance transportation service

Our same day pick-up start at 9am with availability.
✓ Yes. We do not transport patient that are intubated, patients with active IV’s, or patients that are having an emergency.
✓ We can transport patients with capped IVs.
Yes, we welcome ride along. We are able to accommodate 1 companion at no additional charge
✓ Yes, we can arrange a “wait and return” trip or we can arrange a “will-call/scheduled return” trip.
✓ A “wait and return” has a supplemental wait time fee.
The Medix team will pick you up from inside your room and drop you off inside the building you are going to. We ensure that our patients are properly endorsed at their destination.
Yes, we service all LA county Airports. LAX-Los Angeles International Airport, Hollywood Burbank Airport, Ontario International Airport, Long Beach Airport.
We prefer a 24-hour notice, but We make every attempt to provide same day transportation requests, and can usually accommodate last minute transportation request after complete trip information has been received and confirmed. Call us for availability.
Yes, Medix transportation can provide long distance transportation. We request a minimum 48-hour notice. For more information about availability and rates, call our scheduling department
Trips can be scheduled up to a year in advance.
1-To cancel a scheduled trip, we require a minimum 24-hour notice from time of scheduled pick-up time. We are happy to reschedule any cancelled appointments.
2-24 hrs. notice: 0% cancellation fee
3-2-23 hrs. notice: 25%
4-Less than 2 hours or at the door*: No refund;
5-If we arrive for pick and patient cancels or is unavailable for transport, pick up fee will be charged, mileage charges will not be included.
6-No cancel call: No refund

Private pay: pay out of pocket for your medical transportation.
For the convenience of our clients, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
